As site monitor, there were a few purses in my closet speaking to the job. This is the gem of the collection. I was the Wentzville Flea Market in central Missouri, walking around with a ten dollar bill and came across a pair of "South American" woven bags. Beautiful handiwork. I thought they would make nice pillows. But I went through the pillow stage during teen sewing 101 and it was all about purses. I sewed a darling little liner for the darker one, complete with a cute pocket and then attached a bamboo handle to it. The handle was from my teapot that broke in the move. I then I sewed the bottom so that it would be a square. Gave it some depth. Perfect night's out bag. And one of a kind! Reach me at wetpainthandbags@gmail.com.
