Lindsey Lohan, that all-American cutie turned hottie, is no stranger to style and showing up on the red carpet decked in the very latest stylish clothes and accessories. She’s a designer’s darling, so it was no surprise when she was tapped in 2004 to be the face for the heart and charm line of Dooney & Bourke handbags.

But, as cute as she is, word on the street was that she was too American to be the pitch woman for the very franche Louis Vuitton. That gig went instead with phone-throwing tantrumess Naomi Campbell.
