The beginning of D aylight Savings Time always means SPRING!!! (Okay, so I live in the sunny south, so there's really no change in the weather, but I like to celebrate the change of seasons anyhow.)

One of my favorite things to buy is a fresh new spring purse, so I was really excited when I saw this page and realized that there were other purse-obsessed women out there!

I am a catalog shopping fanatic, (gee maybe that's why my wiki is all about catalogs!) but there is no time left to order catalogs for spring so it's online catalogs for now.

I've been looking around the web, and let me tell you, there are some tough choices to be made this month! My first stop was at a way cool site called Star 50 Handbags where they had this amazing spring purse called the Mississippi Brunch Bag...ultimately retro, with a magnolia on it! I tried to capture a picture to paste on here, but they seem to be using some kind of slide show, so you'll just have to click through and find it. Her site a really cool too....like an old View Master!

After surfing through a bunch of really hideous purse pages (what are they thinking? Puke green clutches?), I went to an old favorite...Coach. I checked out their new bags and found this really cute Hampton's Weekend Tote -again, I couldn't get a picture to add (can anybody help me with that?) but trust me it is hardcore prep meets springtime all the way!

Then I found this other site...SouthernSistersDesigns.com...and check this out...a picture! Isn't it adorable? This would be a great bag for the beach, lunch out with friends, a weekend away, or a date. According to their website, these demin bags sell out really fast (I don't doubt it!) so if you want one, I guess you'd better decide now! And hey, spring is only a few weeks away!

After that I surfed aroud some more...found some more truly ugly bags (hey, maybe that's the next article I should write!), and then I saw the perfect purse for spring break...it's at a site called www.alternative-beauty.com/handbags. It's a pink license plate bag! See?

OK, so I shopped all morning, and I choose...I went with the Star 50 bag, and the demin purse. And now I am ready to sit by my mailbox and wait for my springtime goodies to arrive!
