Keep breaking my sewing machine sewing corners

HELP! I have broken my sewing machine repeatedly - got the needle and bobbin stuck while sewing overly thick seams. I took my machine to repair place and was told that it wasn't me, it was the machine - a Pfaff hobby something. But I think it is me. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Hi!
When I have a thick section to sew instead of just sewing normally I will go very slow and turn the wheel of my machine by hand instead of using the foot pedal. This seems to help!

Does sound like your machine, but make sure you have the right pressure on the feed. Check instruction on sewing thick fabric. Do you find this valuable?
